Heidi Thomson-Daly, the Principal Consultant of HT & CO., has a ceaseless passion for doing what she loves most: working with great nonprofits and those that lead them to raise more money and strengthen their impact. Known for her infectious enthusiasm and track record of success, Heidi uses an customized approach to meeting her client’s needs, infusing innovation, analysis, strategy, and creativity into every project.
An accomplished fundraiser with 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Heidi consultants and trains nationally, specializing in campaign feasibility and planning, major gifts, Board training, fundraising performance and event strategy. With her expertise in change management and organizational effectiveness in tow, Heidi also serves as an Interim Chief Development Officer / Director of Development Director for organizations experiencing transitions in key leadership. Among them have been Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, New Beginnings, EarthCorps, Year Up Puget Sound, Westside Baby, Hands on Children’s Museum, Childhaven and Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest.
Before founding HT & CO., Heidi served as the Senior Director of Development and Communications for Women’s Funding Alliance, where she was instrumental in the local launch of the Women Moving Millions campaign, resulting in the organizations first three $1 million gifts. Preceding this she spent a decade leading and fundraising for a diverse range of organizations in New York and New England. In 2008 she was a recipient of BusinessWest’s Top 40 Under Forty. She also received the Teaching of Excellence Award from the University of Washington where she served as Adjunct Faculty for six years in Certificate for Fundraising Management.
A vibrant professional, Heidi keeps the joy factor front and center while working with fundraisers both new and seasoned to accelerate their goals and advance their mission. While changing the world is serious business, she believes we are more likely to achieve the impact we seek if we are having fun while we do it!
